Our home port is Porto Santo north of Madeira. We sail with an Ovni 385 built in aluminum, 42 feet with room for at least six people. The boat is offshore equipped with a focus on safety. On board there is a compressor and diving equipment.

I have read a lot of books about sailing and navigation. Participated in courses and took nautical certificates and proofs. A lot of Swedish and also foreign training and certificates. A question I often ask myself is, will I benefit from all these courses?
I have now compiled the knowledge and skills that I have acquired over the years in theory and practice. On my sailboat, which is an offshore-equipped Ovni 385, I offer training in sailing and safety that is needed when planning to cross an ocean. The boat is built in aluminum and fully equipped for ocean sailing. There is also diving equipment on board. I start from my home port of Porto Santo, an island north of Madeira. The sailing area is the coast of Madeira, the Canary Islands and the Azores.
I believe that you learn best through practice while having fun and gaining experience. To sail through difficult weather conditions or solve problems that may arise suddenly, you need to practice different scenarios. Practice allows you to stay calm and solve the task in the best way.
